Dee Westfall

Dee Westfall is an evolving ceramic artist who resides in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York, in Geneva. She graduated in 2013 from Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua with her Associates degree in Fine Arts, and won recognition for her sculptural work while studying there. She graduated from the School for American Craft at Rochester Institute of Technology in May of 2017 with her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts for Ceramics, and with honors. Her professors and mentors there were artists Jane Shelenbarger and Peter Pincus, both of whom guided her in her focus on ceramic sculpture. Since 2012, she has exhibited in several galleries and won several awards. She has also sold some of her work to individuals, to commercial facilities and to private collections.   Currently her focus is very much on creating sculptural tiles that focus on the intersection of geology and architecture. She is now the adjunct professor for ceramics at Keuka College in Penn Yan, NY, as well.
